The studios are part of a country house complex, secluded, not overlooked and with private drive. Lalinde at 4kms is the nearest small town with amenities and the property is well placed to give easy access to the tourist delights of the Dordogne.

Facilities

The studios are tastefully designed in an individual style offering a high standard of comfort associated more with hotel suites. Guests may enjoy privacy and peace, whilst having ready access to the lounge, the acre of grounds or the sports and leisure areas, including two golf driving nets, giant chess/draughts set and boules park.

The comprehensive facilities include an indoor/ outdoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna and gym with a selection of exercise machines and a luxury massage chair. Enjoy a relaxing carefree holiday, indulging in a little pampering or taking the opportunity for a gentle work out or maintenance schedule. Your hosts, retired sports specialists, will be happy to offer advice! Should you desire something special from a beauty treatment to a cordon bleu meal or French speaking guide we can assist you. If you are coming with friends you may like the idea of wine tasting, art, cookery, pottery or French language sessions. Do ask if you would like a tailored package or plan a special occasion.

Our Studios

Treat yourself to something special - three spacious well appointed open plan barn studios. No children. No pets. Enjoy the country life with comfort.

Open to just three couples there is space and seclusion whether you come as a two or part of a group. Each modern open plan studio has double bed, bathroom with massage jet shower, a kitchen with full oven and a dining /lounge area with TV and DVD. Studios are centrally heated and air conditioned. Each has a private outdoor balcony or terrace with stunning views to fields and forest.

LOCAL AREA

The Dordogne has a temperate climate, though summers are hot and dry. We are within a short drive of the caves of Lascaux and Les Eyzies, Sarlat and Bergerac. St. Emilion and the beautiful vineyards of Bordeaux are in easy reach. Nearer to hand are the Châteaux of the Pecharmant region where wine tasting is a must.

The department's medieval heritage is especially well represented with the beautiful medieval towns of Sarlat and Brantôme.

The Dordogne also boasts the greatest number of castles and chateaux of all the departments.

Périgueux enjoys an architectural heritage ranging from Roman ruins to Renaissance buildings lining cobbled streets.
