LOCAL AREA
The pretty town of Le Bugue provides an excellent range of shops for everyday needs.
There are many tracks and footpaths for serious walkers and cyclists - we have four mens and two ladies bikes – and the countryside is perfect for the artist and photographer.
Sporting activities locally include golf, tennis, canoeing, horse-riding, fishing and we also have our own fishing lake.
The list is endless of wonderful places to visit. Key places include Sarlat, Domme, prehistoric caves at Les Eyzies, the vineyards of Bergerac, St. Emilion, Bordeaux and Cahors and distilleries in Cognac.
The vast selection of restaurants is a gourmet's delight and there are a tremendous variety of good regional wines.
