Located at the end of a small lane, La Vele was originally built from limestone some 200+ years ago as a very large barn, now converted to a high quality. The gite is available all year and benefits from oil fired central heating.
Accommodation
The La Vele gite is private, well equipped and spacious enough for either an extended family, or group of 8/10 people, or a smaller family or group who would like the luxury of lots of space on holiday.

Large and comfortable open plan family room with two large settees, easy chairs, satellite TV, DVD player and radio etc. Optional dining area containing a second pine table and chairs.

‘L’ shaped kitchen with electric oven, kettle and toaster, gas/electric hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer.

Large walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and washing machine.
First Floor
The Yellow Room
Double en-suite bedroom. Separate washbasin, shower and toilet. Walk-in wardrobe. Old beams supporting walls. Views over fields and vineyards.
The Blue Room
Twin single-beds with option of additional single-bed and/or cot. Wardrobe, table and chairs.

The Pink Room
Double-bed with headboard and side cabinets. Option of additional single-bed and/or cot.
Views over fields and vineyards.
The White Room
Double-bed with headboard and side cabinets, hanging clothes rail.
Three of the bedrooms have an ‘interesting’ structure of old roof beams.
Landing Area
Large open-plan landing with large window and doors to White and Pink bedrooms and family bathroom. Additional wardrobe with both hanging rail and shelves. Corridor to Yellow and Blue bedrooms.
Family Bathroom
Bath, corner shower unit, wash basin and toilet.
Gardens
The one-hectare plot contains the old barn building, swimming pool, pigeonnier and fishpond. The rest of the plot is a simple, but imaginatively designed garden with grass for childrens games, shaded areas, fruit and nut trees and a private, secluded poolside barbecue area for alfresco eating.
Swimming pool
The pool, patio and BBQ area is totally fenced with two ‘childproof’ access gates. The 12m x 6m pool is kept spotlessly clean and has a seven foot deep-end suitable for diving.
