This pretty traditional stone barn has been converted and modernised to provide attractive accommodation in four charming self contained cottages. The complex boasts an attractive pool with terracing, plus sports area with badminton/volleyball, football, trampoline and table tennis.

Each of the gites is comfortable and fully equipped, with furnished terrace for outside dining. Each kitchen has dishwasher, fridge and microwave, plus full oven and hob. The open plan lounges have dining areas and ample comfy seating. The gites Coquelicot and Lavande are available all year round with supplement for electric central heating, and Tournesol and Hortensia have wood burning stoves, perfect for cosy spring and autumn evenings.

Lavande has one double bedroom, but could accommodate up to 4 by using the double sofa bed in the lounge.

Tournesol has one double bedroom plus one bunk bedded room, this gite could also accommodate a further 2 people using the sofa bed in the lounge.

Coquelicot has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, and is arranged on one level with separate entrance and shaded terrace to the rear of the property.

Hortensia has one double bedroom plus one triple bedroom.  There is an additional pull out bed available, as well as a sofa bed in the lounge.  This accommodation would suit groups of 5-6 people.  Not suitable for very small children/elderly as the bedrooms are upstairs.

LOCAL AREA

The property is set in tranquil surroundings but only 2 kms from the village of Salviac, with shops, bars and restaurants, and only 15 minutes drive to the Dordogne river.

We are surrounded by wonderful marked paths for walking and cycling and horseriding, fishing and canoeing are nearby. 

All the attractions of the Dordogne are in close proximity, as are the many famous Cahors vineyards and Chateaux. There is an abundance of shops (and restaurants) where you can sample the locally produced duck dishes, goats cheeses and, of course, the foie gras.
