'A Poin' is a classic Gascon farmhouse built in the traditional regional style. Positioned in the Southern Gers in beautiful Gascony.
'A Poin' is perfectly situated to explore this tranquil region of France which borders the Haute Pyrenees. The majestic peaks of the Pyrenees are visible from many local vantage points. The mountains are easily reached from A Poin and are an ideal destination for all types of outdoor activities.
The Gers is a wonderful area, famous for, amongst other things, foie-gras, armagnac, sunflowers and D'Artagnan one of the three musketeers, whose statue can be seen in nearby Auch.
The peaceful and picturesque countryside boasts many interesting market towns, bastides and age old places of pilgrimage and history.
A Poin is a typical Gascon ‘L’ shaped Farmhouse, full of charm and character, in a rural setting with 2 gites which have been recently converted to a high standard from the original attached barn. The grounds extend to approx. 3 acres including a paddock and orchard.
Perfect location for touring or stopover to Spain.

Both Gites have a large open plan living and dining room comfortably furnished, with new well equipped kitchen areas.
The bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside.
Each gite has its own patio area with patio furniture. BBQs are available - to grill those delicious sardines!
The bathrooms all have showers and vanity units with shaver points. Bed linen and towels are provided.

Interesting village with small supermarket, restaurants, bakery, two butchers and Sunday market. Very popular thermal baths, casino (with ATM), horseracing and inland lake with beach.

Historic Village with shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes, market and night markets (July and August).

Cathedral of Saint Marie, statue of d'Artagnan, the old quartier, museums, art galleries, shops and 18 hole golf course.
