Ken and Liz Mason are resident owners of three 350 year old stone cottages with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors, set in an acre of gardens nestling on the edge of a lovely hamlet in the heart of the Loire Valley. To maintain the tranquility of the setting and to ensure total relaxation, we only accept adults.
Each cottage has its own private area of garden, the gardens include lawns, an orchard and herb garden.
Set in a quiet part of the gardens with views over open fields is our 10 x 4 metre heated swimming pool with sun from early morning until nearly sunset.

La Lune
Described as our ‘chocolate box cottage and set at the rear of the gardens, it is very private. Living/dining room with a woodburning stove, kitchen and shower room with toilet and basin. The bedroom with king size bed has french windows to a private terrace.
Le Fleuve
Two storey cottage set in its own romantic gardens beside our well. The ground floor comprises entrance hall, kitchen with woodburning stove and shower room. Large living/dining room with another wood burning stove. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite toilet room with basin (sleeps 3-4, but one bedroom is open plan to the stairs).
Fleur de Lys
Large Barn conversion all on one level, with very spacious rooms, high oak beamed ceilings and elegantly furnished in a sophisticated style. The entrance hall leads into a spacious kitchen with door to private garden space. The living/dining room has a woodburning stove with visible flame. The large bedroom with an extra king size bed has an adjoining bathroom with a bath/shower, basin and toilet.
LOCAL AREA
Our local villages of Le Grand Pressigny and Preuilly sur Claise, both with weekly markets, can provide you with all the usual French treats.
Recreational opportunities abound in the region. Biking on the almost traffic-free country roads is delightful. The many rivers will be of special interest for swimmers and fishing. Bird watching is especially well-rewarded in the Regional Park of the Brenne. There are numerous caves to explore and other outdoor activities include rock-climbing, horse-riding, tennis and golf.
