The Location
La Cachette is just a few minutes stroll from the lovely clean sandy beach of St Enogat, with views to the old walled town of St Malo.
As along the length of the Emerald Coast, low tide is impressive, revealing a vast expanse of beach, rock pools, offshore islands, and level walkways round the headlands. To the east, a gentle half hour walk will bring you to the main beach and to the centre of Dinan. Perched on the headland is a luxurious Thalassotherapy Hotel; the sea-facing terrace bar and restaurant are open to non-residents, as are the therapy sessions.
The coastal path of North Brittany invites you to explore further and to enjoy the beautiful rocky coastline with its hidden coves and wonderful sea views.
Back at the beach, during July and August, there is a small friendly snack bar, free toilet and shower facilities, mini-golf and kayak hire.
The charming local centre of St Enogat is a short walk for shops, supermarket and weekly market.
