The Davies-Santos family invite you to holiday at Le Clozet, their lovingly restored Gascon farmhouse, set in its own parkland in the picturesque hilltop village of Pouy Roquelaure.
All the accommodation at Le Clozet has been finished to the highest standard offering modern facilities whilst retaining many original features such as beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls.
Both gites have three en-suite bedrooms, each with its own outside dining area, equipped with table and chairs for six people, sun umbrella and barbecue. Each gite consists of a large, bright living-dining room with 2 three seater sofas, large dining table to seat 6, a television with DVD player.
The modern fully equipped kitchen is fitted with electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
Guests can relax around our large 12m x 6m swimming pool set apart from the house in an enclosed area. Large sun terrace and grassed area with ample sun loungers or chairs. You can take in the magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding countryside whilst sipping a cool drink from our honesty bar. On a clear day you can also see the spectacular mountains of the Pyrenees, only a two hour drive away.
Our grounds have many mature oak and walnut trees offering welcoming shade from the Gascon sun. The Gers benefits from nine months of sunshine each year.
Under our hangar are games and activities for adults and children including table tennis and board games. Bicycles are available for guest use, the quiet lanes of the Gers offer safe cycling for adults and children alike.

LOCAL AREA
Le Clozet, situated between Agen and Condom, is well placed for visiting the many medieval towns and villages of Gascony. Fources is especially worth visiting as it is the only round bastide of the region. For guests with young families or the young at heart there is the Walibi fun park at Agen or the water park at Condom, as well as horse-riding, boating, karting, golf and tennis within easy reach.
For walkers, the pilgrim route of St James of Compostella passes within 10 metres of Le Clozet, beginning with an 8Km walk to the beautiful collegial village of La Romieu.
For food and wine lovers the Gers is a gastronomic heaven, famous for Foie Gras, Confit and Magret de Canard, Armagnac, Floc, Buzet and Madiran wines. For walkers, the pilgrim route of St James of Compostella passes nearby.
