All bedrooms have English, as well as French, powerpoints. All cottages are equipped with fire extinguishers and smoke alarms.

Other facilities
6 x 12m heated swimming pool with Roman steps; sun-loungers, parasols and a sitting area. The pool is floodlit at night and there is a child's paddling pool.
6 seat jacuzzi and 4 seat sauna. Both open all year.
There is a safe, enclosed, all-day-shaded children's play area for under-tens, games room for table tennis, family games or wet weather activities, badminton, croquet and boules sets, large terrace and communal barbecue for larger groups.
Retreat to the games room for ping pong. or just find your own corner and read, paint or play board games. There are separate relaxation areas away from the cottages and pool.

LOCAL AREA
Within a mile, enjoy the water sports and horseriding offered at the nearby lake; there are 2 sandy beaches with restaurant and snack facilities plus life guards in peak season. Swing from the trees at the adventure park at Massignac (10 minutes). Go mountain biking or fishing.
Alternatively, discover the historic Roman baths at Chassenon or visit the 15th Century Rochechouart chateau with its museum of modern art.
Follow the chateau trail of Richard the Lionheart. Or visit historic Angouleme or the potteries at Limoges.
For a full day's outing, try the Cognac vineyards and distilleries or Futuroscope at Poitiers.
Treat yourself to the wonderful French food and wine from the local Bordeaux and Cognac regions and be sure to visit the many local markets.
