Les Prinquières is a collection of 19th century farm buildings, converted to create four luxurious self contained gîtes, set in 8 acres of our own pastures, woodland and fishing lake, yet still very close to all the major tourist attractions and activities in the region.

There is a 10 x 5 metre floodlit pool with terraces, a pool house with fridge and covered dining area with traditional barbeque, sun beds, chairs and parasols.

There is a shaded Boules court with lighting for summer evenings; badminton and table tennis with equipment are also available and a selection of board games.

Accommodation:

La Châtaigne, La Pêche and Le Noyer are all part of an ancient barn sympathetically restored and converted to form 3 individual gîtes.

All four gîtes are comfortably furnished and equipped with washing machine, iron and ironing board; pretty bed linen is provided and changed weekly. Each have their own private patio with table, chairs and gas barbecue.

Le Four à Pain (sleeps 2)

Set apart from the other 3 gîtes and therefore more secluded and private.

On one level, a comfortably furnished room with a pine double bed, sofa and occasional table, with ample drawers and cupboards; fully tiled en-suite shower room with cubicle shower, vanity unit and W.C.

Separate kitchen/diner with cooker, microwave, coffee-maker and fridge/freezer.

Le Noyer (sleeps 2)

Fully fitted kitchen with microwave, coffee-maker, fridge/freezer.

The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished with a large sofa, radio/cassette/CD player and small selection of books.

Spacious double bedroom with vaulted ceiling, solid pine double bed, wardrobe and ample drawer space. The en-suite has a shower cubicle, vanity unit and W.C.

La Châtaigne (sleeps 2)

Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee-maker.

Comfortably furnished lounge/diner with woodburner, radio/cassette/CD player and small selection of books.

Spacious double bedroom with solid pine double bed, wardrobe and ample drawer space. En-suite shower room, with cubicle shower, vanity unit and W.C.

La Pêche (sleeps 2-4)

The middle of the 3 gîtes created from the ancient stone barn.

Fully fitted kitchen/diner with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, coffee-maker and fridge/freezer.

The lounge area, which is spacious and comfortably furnished, also has a midi hi-fi system and selection of books.

Spacious bedroom with a solid 5ft pine bed, ample wardrobe and drawer space, 3ft pine bed in a curtained alcove. En-suite shower room with fully tiled shower cubicle, vanity unit and W.C. The lounge also has a large sofa-bed for additional sleeping.

LOCAL AREA

The Lot offers excellent rambling, river swimming, marvellous caves and excellent local food and wine. Our local village is Fajoles and for shops, restaurants/bars, supermarkets and market. Gourdon with its charming medieval narrow streets is 5 miles.
