La Boulinerie is situated in the South Vendée known for its wonderful coastline and year round sunny climate.  On the edge of the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice) famous for its navigable canals and nature reserves the property is between the cathedral city of Luçon and renaissance Fontenay le Comte.  The area is full of things to see and do, in and out of season.  Markets, restaurants, chateaux, abbeys, gardens, golf, tennis, sailing, cycling, horse-riding, bird-watching, painting, photography.

Salt-water swimming pool (12m x 6m) with floodlighting and large stone terrace, heated to 28° May – September.

Games barn with table tennis and table football.  Bouledrome, badminton, volleyball and football in the grounds.   

Prices include all bed linen.  Cots, highchairs and stair gates on request.  Babysitting available.

There is a specifically designed artist’s studio on site with northern light, plumbing and power.  Available for groups or individuals – contact owners for rates.

From October to June the owners run residential cookery and language courses.

A prepared meal is available for the night of your arrival at 5Euros per head.

During high season we offer a weekly evening meal in the courtyard – the perfect way to relax and meet the other guests. Catering for larger parties can be arranged with the owners.

La Bonne – sleeps 2 in studio apartment
One room studio with double bed, kitchenette and shower room, terrace and BBQ.  Works well taken with Les Boulins or Les Ardoises.
