Les Marroniers (sleeps 4)

Available May to October  

Pretty stone cottage with all rooms on the ground floor. Co-ordinated soft furnishings and tasteful decor make this cottage cosy and comfortable 

The living room has a dining table and chairs, comfortable settees, coffee table and lamps, a TV and video recorder and English books. 

Well equipped kitchen, shower room with vanity unit, WC and washing machine.

Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, a chest of drawers or dressing table and bedside tables with lamps. One room has a double bed and the other has two singles.

Walled terrace with garden furniture, barbeque and wonderful views.

Le Chai (sleeps 5)

Available May to October

First-floor conversion of an ancient barn with wonderful exposed timbers and stone walls. Light and airy with split-level, open-plan living area.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area on one level with a step down to a comfortably furnished lounge area on the lower level. TV, video and English books.

Patio doors from the lounge to large, elevated terrace with magnificent views. Table and chairs and large barbeque.

Two spacious and comfortable bedrooms; one with double bed, the other with 3 single beds. Both rooms have double wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside tables with lamps.

Light and airy shower room with vanity unit, WC, washing machine and other laundry equipment.

Rochards (sleeps 2) 

Available all year (pool and gardens open May to October only)

Clean, cosy, comfortable and INEXPENSIVE!

Traditional mid-terrace farm cottage, with comfortable accommodation, all on ground level. Electric convector heaters in every room.

One large living room with well equipped kitchen area at one end, dining area the other and comfortably furnished sitting area in the middle. TV, video and English books.

Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and lamps.  En-suite shower room with washbasin and WC.

The property doesn't have direct access into the garden - the gate leading to the garden and pool is twenty metres from the front door. Here you find your own private terrace with garden furniture, barbeque and some wonderful views.

The bedrooms of "Le Chai" are above this cottage and creaking floor-boards may be a nuisance for some people.

There’s lots to do and see in the area:

Within easy reach of many well-known towns - Bordeaux, Cognac, Royan, Saintes, St Emilion, Bourg and also La Palmyre Zoo.

Sporting facilities nearby - golf, tennis, horse-riding, water-sports, fishing.

Village boules area just behind the house.

Borrow our bicycles and explore the local area. Great walks from the door.

The nearest beaches are at Meschers (35 minutes).

This area is a bird-watcher’s paradise.

Or simply relax by the salt-water swimming pool (heated for early and late holidays) soaking up the warm sunshine and the tranquil atmosphere.  Paradise!
