The house is owned and run by Richard (a professional chef with considerable experience) and wife Julia (an experienced horse rider whom also has interests in dogs and parrots).

Outside BBQ and comfortable eating area is at your disposal. There are ample sun loungers by the pool with natural shade under trees.

Table tennis, boules, dartboard and pool games are available and there is also a laundry and ironing room. Ample secure under cover car parking is available. If you are feeling lazy Richard will gladly cook and serve a feast at a very reasonable price. French, English, Indonesian and Indian are some of the choices on offer.

Gite or Holiday Home Accommodation

Two, pretty good-sized bedrooms, each with a double bed, a single bed and pine furniture. Both rooms are equipped with, duvets, linen, towels, and have lovely views either over the pool or the gardens.

There is a fully equipped shower room, 2 WCs.

Spacious, comfortable room comprising of lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.

The kitchen has full gas oven, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and microwave/grill.

All areas have full central heating and fans are available during the hot summer months. A welcome pack including wine is provided for your arrival.

Outside, the Gite has a lovely patio area that is adjacent to the swimming pool and gardens, an idyllic setting.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Three newly converted bedrooms are available in the main house. One king-size with en-suite bathroom, one double with en-suite walk-in shower room and one room to sleep five with a double and three singles with en-suite shower room.

Breakfast is served in the owners' dining room or outside in the sun on the terrace.

Fresh warmed bread and croissants served with home made preserves and home-grown organic fruits are available for breakfast. Guests are welcome to use all the facilities of the owners lounge with satellite TV and log fire, laundry room and pool. All areas have full central heating.

LOCAL AREA

Saint-Vite is 5km from Fumel, where shops and supermarkets are at your disposal.

You will have the chance to take excellent walks, at your leisure, on the owner's land through woodland, or along the banks of the river where fishing is available in one of France's best carp rivers. The local supermarket at Fumel is only five minutes away whilst there are colourful local markets in Tournon d'Agenais and Monsempron Libos - ideal places to sample the local specialities of prunes, duck, cheeses, rotisserie chickens, foie gras and of course superb local wine.

The area is very rural and relaxing. There are, however many beautiful places to explore and local activities include canoeing, tennis, horse riding and cycling etc. Parc-en-Ciel (park in the sky) is highly recommended by the owners and an exhilarating day out for the active with a good heart and head for heights!

Boat trips on the river Lot can be taken from Fumel.

The Chateau de Bonaguil is also a local attraction being only 10 minutes away.
