Joddwallgate has self catering accommodation in two gîtes and Bed & Breakfast / Chambres d’Hotes accommodation in the main house.

Kerfourn is 5 miles from the riverside town of Pontivy and 12 miles from Josselin.

Accommodation:

Gîte Joan - 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 (+ cot if required)

A two storey gîte providing fully equipped accommodation for four persons.

Ground Floor - open plan lounge / dining area with a corner kitchen.

The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, gas cooker and oven and microwave oven.

The lounge / dining area has radio/CD music centre, TV and DVD player for which a selection of films are available, board games and reading material.

First Floor:

2 double bedrooms

Bathroom - bath/shower, hand basin and WC.

All rooms have wall mounted electric convector heaters.

A washing machine is available for use.

Gîte Shelleth - 1 bedroom sleeps 2 (+ cot if required)

Shelleth is a recently renovated two storey gîte.

Fully equipped kitchen with full size cooker and oven.

Lounge and dining area with sofa, TV with DVD player for which a selection of films are available and a stereo.

Upstairs is an ensuite double bedroom. The ensuite has a thermo/massage shower, WC and hand basin.

The gite has thermostatically controlled convector heaters.

A washing machine is available for use.

Chambres d’hotes

The second storey of the main house has been converted to provide quality bed and breakfast accommodation in 2 large family rooms and a double room.

Room 1 - double bed and two single beds and an ensuite shower room with shower, hand basin, WC and bidet.

Room 2 - two double beds and an ensuite shower room with shower, hand basin, WC and bidet.

Room 3 - one double bed. The corridor has been designed to give the occupants of this room access to the ensuite according to family needs.

Dining room - on the ground floor there is a charming dining room - The Shot Fox - where a substantial and interesting brunch is served. This brunch tends to last all day.

An excellent five course dinner including wine is available on three / four evenings a week.

LOCAL AREA

Kerfourn is extremely quiet and has minimal but adequate local services - boulangerie, general store and two bars.

Less than half a mile away there is a well stocked trout and coarse lake where you can fish all day for £2.50 and take as many trout as you like back to the gite and cook them on the barbeque in the garden. Fishing tackle is available to borrow at no charge.

Pontivy (5 miles) has restaurants, night clubs, shops, cinemas and swimming pool. Josselin (12 miles) is a medieval town with an imposing Chateau.

The nearest beaches are about 35 minutes drive away, whilst Carnac and Trinitie-sur-Mer are less than an hour away.
