The Herob House is located 5 minutes from town of l'Isle sur la Sorgue, between Mont Ventoux and the Luberon in the heart of Provence. Here, you will find and enjoy the calmness and the tranquility of this 3 hectares property.
The English-speaking owners will welcome you warmly and will be pleased to let you know about the surroundings and the different activities in the area.
Only a few steps away from the studios, you'll be able to cool down in the swimming pool or rest on the grass or under the shade of the pool house.
The swimming pool, which is 1.5m deep and 5m x 10m, is surrounded by a fence.
Outside: a shower. A fridge is available in the pool house.
Studio Les Cigales
This studio will comfortably accommodate 2 people.
Facing east, its wide windows and door let in a lot of light.
You will be able to enjoy your own private terrace to eat and lay back under shade of the pine trees. A barbecue is also available.
Studio La Colline
This studio adjacent to the first floor of the main house can also comfortably accommodate 2 people. The living room and bedroom are separate rooms, with the living room also including a sofa bed.
In the garden, steps up to the studio, a terrace is available to you, where you'll be able to eat outside and enjoy the barbecue.
LOCAL AREA
Right by the Herob house, a canal runs from Fontaine de Vaucluse (about 2h30 walk) to Pernes les Fontaines (1h30 walk).
You'll be able to take walks or ride bikes on the path that follows it all the way in total tranquility.
Situated between the city of Avignon and the Luberon Regional Natural Park, the Herob house is ideally located for excursions and walks in many types of countryside.
Nearby, you will find many sporting activities including: cycling, tennis, kayak, golf, horse riding.
Moreover, you are only an hour's drive away from the best Mediterranean beaches and the second city in France: Marseille.
There are numerous places to see during your stay at the Herob House including l'Isle sur la Sorgue (2km), Fontaine de Vaucluse (9km), Roussillon (20km) the French Colorado and Le Mont Ventoux (50km) culminating at 1912m.
Avignon (20km): At the confluence of the Rhône and Durance rivers, Avignon is the spiritual, political, and economical capital of the area. Well known for its ramparts, its famous Pont Saint-Bénezet (le Pont d’Avignon) and the Palais des Papes, Avignon is one of the biggest gothic cities in Europe.
