Accommodation
The cottages are about 20 yards apart, separated by an empty barn and surrounded by farmland. They have self-contained south-facing gardens, with outdoor furniture, BBQ and parking + electric heating throughout.
Cottage 1 (sleeps 6-8)
A very comfortable, recently renovated stone farmhouse.
Ideal for families and groups of friends.
Ground floor: large, bright, well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room with electric oven + hob, microwave, coffee maker, fridge freezer, washing machine, iron + ironing board. Spacious oak beamed living/dining room, traditional fireplace with woodburner, hi-fi, French TV and DVD player. Bedroom with two bunk beds, chest of drawers, en-suite WC, washbasin. Nicely furnished throughout.
First floor : two bedrooms (twin + double, all with duvets) antique wardrobes and chests of drawers. Bathroom with bath/shower, washbasin, WC.
Stair safety gate and baby's travel cot available on request.
Cottage One normally accommodates up to six. Up to two more may be accommodated on the sofa bed at an additional cost of 10% pppw (NB - duvet/bed linen not provided for sofa bed).
Cottage 2 (sleeps 4)
A characteristic, detached Breton stone cottage with comfortable ground floor accommodation.
Ideal for smaller families or two couples.
Well equipped kitchen/diner/living room with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, French TV and DVD player, iron + ironing board and wood burning stove. Two double bedrooms with wardrobes and chests of drawers. Shower room with shower, washbasin and WC.
The cottage has been recently decorated and is simply and tastefully furnished. The first floor is unoccupied.
Please note that there are no telephone / internet points.
Regretfully, because of sheep nearby, pets are not permitted.
No smoking inside the cottages please.

Morbihan
Ten minutes away is Guéméné sur Scorff with several restaurants, shops, cafes and excellent supermarket.
A further 20 minutes drive is the medieval/Napoleonic city of Pontivy with all amenities, well worth a visit.
Close at hand is Priziac, with a large swimming lake. It is ideal for families, with beach, boats and a cafe. The south coast around L'Orient, including the beaches of Larmor Plage, is about 40 minutes' easy driving on quiet roads. Pre -historic Carnac , the city of Vannes, the Quiberon Peninsula and the Gulf of Morbihan for wildlife and water sports are reached in about an hour. To the north is a very secenic drive around Lac de Guerladen with swimming, sailing and lakeside restaurants.
There's plenty to do apart from lazing about, including cycling and walking (try the Nantes-Brest Canal trail), riding, golf and any amount of beach based activities.
