Our Background

We decided to create our independent A Week or 2 in France website following the successful launch of our specialist regional site, www.aweekor2inlanguedoc.com.

We have many years experience of the holiday property, B&B and camping businesses in France, including owning and running a large gite complex in the Hérault department in Languedoc-Roussillon and on a smaller scale in the Pyrénées-Orientales.  Over a period of time we have discovered more and more about the rich diversity of attractions across regional France.

We are keen to promote the Book Direct with the Owners concept to an increasing number of independent holidaymakers who appreciate the choice, flexibility and value for money by booking their own holiday accommodation.  We are committed to substantial investment in building the sites over a period of time as our aim is to make A Week or 2 in France and A Week or 2 in Languedoc key independent sites to consult for independent self-catering and B&B holidays in France.

We are based in the UK managing and promoting the websites, but continue to spend two months of the year in France, during which time we try to ensure we keep up to date with the many attractions of the Regions with the holidaymaker in mind.
